1. When the stainless steel chuck is in use, it must be used in accordance with the diameter of the steel wire rope.
2. In order to protect the wire rope from abrasion, in principle, a wire rope loop should be used on the top eye.
3. Three or more clamps should be used at the end of each wire rope to obtain effective locking force. The spacing of each rope clamp should be 6-7 times the diameter of the wire rope.
4. The wire rope clamp should fasten the clamp seat on the working section of the wire rope, and the U-shaped bolt should be fastened on the tail section of the wire rope, and shall not be alternately arranged on the wire rope.
5. To tighten the rope clamps, the reasonable force of each rope clamp needs to be considered. The rope clamp furthest away from the loop shall not be fastened separately first. The rope clamp closest to the loop (the first rope clamp) should be as close as possible to the loop, but the rope clamp must be tightened correctly and the outer wire of the wire rope must not be damaged.
6. The strength of the wire rope clamp fixing place depends on the correct arrangement of the rope clamp on the wire rope, as well as the caution and proficiency of the rope clamp fixing and clamping. Inappropriate tightening of nuts or insufficient number of wire rope clamps may cause the rope end to slip at the beginning when it is loaded. If the rope clamps are arranged and tightened in strict accordance with the recommended quantity, and all the rope clamps will clamp the longer part of the wire rope, and the U-shaped bolts are used for the shorter part or tail section of the wire rope, then the strength of the fixing place is at least 80% of the strength of the wire rope itself. Among them, the rope clamp should be checked after being loaded once or twice in actual use. In most cases, the nut needs to be tightened further.
7. Stainless steel wire rope clamps are prone to lockup due to stainless steel fasteners. When tightening the nut, follow the anti-locking method of stainless steel fasteners. If necessary, use diesel or anti-locking oil for pretreatment.
