Specification for the use of wire rope clamps

Wire rope clamps are also called wire rope buckles, which are used to bind the ends of the wire ropes. The standard use of the wire rope clamps is very important. Let me tell you about the specifications for the use of the wire rope clamp.

1. The size of the wire rope clamp should be suitable for the thickness of the wire rope. The inner net distance of the U-shaped ring should be 1~3mm larger than the diameter of the wire rope. The net distance is too large and it is not easy to clamp the rope.

2. When using the wire rope clamp, tighten the U-shaped bolts until the wire rope is flattened by about 1/3. Since the steel wire rope is deformed after being stressed, the rope must be tightened a second time after the wire rope is stressed to ensure the firmness of the joint.

3. If you need to check whether the wire rope clip head slides after the wire rope is stressed, you can attach a safety rope clip to check. When installing the wire rope chuck, about 500mm away from the last wire rope chuck, release the safety rope head for a safe bend and then clamp it with the main rope. In this way, if the wire rope chuck slides, the safety bend will be straightened. Easy to find and strengthen in time.

The above are the three points of attention. I hope it will play a role in your specification for the use of wire rope clamps.
